2. What data we process

Emails sent to us. The website does not contain contact forms; you can contact us by email. In this case, we process your email address, name and any other information you choose to include in your message (for example, company, role, telephone number or details of your request). Without an email address, we cannot reply to you.

Technical data. When you access the website, your browser automatically sends technical data (IP address, browser type, page accessed, date and time) needed to display the pages and secure the website. This data is processed by the hosting provider and the content providers listed below.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We do not use your data for marketing and do not make automated or profiling-based decisions that affect you.

• Responding to enquiries about our services before entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
• General business correspondence (partnerships, press and other enquiries) — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us.

4. Who receives the data

• web hosting and technical infrastructure providers, to the extent necessary for the operation and security of the website;
• the email service provider used for contact@kupelo-holding.com;
• Google, for the fonts displayed on the website (Google Fonts) and for preview images and video playback on the “20 Years of KUPELO” page (Google Drive);
• public authorities, only when required by law.

5. How long we retain data

We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry and for any subsequent collaboration, as well as for any period required by law, where applicable. We then delete it.

6. Cookies and local storage

The website does not use analytics or advertising tools.

• kupelo-lang (local browser storage) — remembers the selected language (Romanian or English). It is necessary for the function you requested and does not expire automatically; you can delete it in your browser settings.
• When you press the play button on a video on the “20 Years of KUPELO” page, the Google Drive player loads and may set its own cookies. The player does not load without your action.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@kupelo-holding.com; we will reply within one month.

You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP): www.dataprotection.ro.
